County
San Francisco Board of Supervisors, District 4
This person holds your district's seat on San Francisco's 11-member Board of Supervisors. They vote on city-county laws, the budget, and land use.
Three candidates are running for the Sunset's seat on the ranked-choice ballot. Incumbent Alan Wong was appointed in December 2025. He then won June's special election with 64.37% in the final round. He faces Albert Chow and Jeremy Julian Greco, who also ran in June. November decides the full four-year term.
The winner holds one of 11 seats on the Board of Supervisors, the city-county's legislature. It writes ordinances, approves the budget the mayor proposes, and decides the land-use questions that determine what gets built where. The term is four years, with a two-term limit.
June already tested this field once: Wong won the short term, and both of his June opponents are back for the full one. The practical question is whether anything has changed since — the candidates are the same, the term is four years instead of months, and the ranked-choice ballot lets you rank the field rather than picking once.
Alan Wong
Alan Wong is the sitting supervisor. Mayor Daniel Lurie appointed him in December 2025. He won June's election to serve out the term. Before the board, he was a policy director at a children's services organization. He was also an elected City College trustee. He also worked as a legislative aide to former Supervisor Gordon Mar.
Albert Chow
Albert Chow owns Great Wall Hardware in the Parkside and is a longtime Sunset merchant. He organized the 2025 recall campaign that removed Supervisor Joel Engardio. He ran for this seat in June but was eliminated before the final round.
Jeremy Julian Greco
Jeremy Julian Greco works as a school campus coordinator. They ran in June's special election for this seat. Now they are running again in November for the full term.
