Incumbent Kristine D. Scott faces three challengers -- David VanGorden, DeJonae Marie Shaw, and Connie Velazquez -- for Rancho Cucamonga's City Council District 2 seat on the November 3, 2026 ballot. Whoever gets the most votes wins outright; there is no primary or runoff.

She works as Regional Public Affairs Manager for Southern California Gas Company, overseeing the Inland Empire region, after earlier roles at TMG Communications and O'Reilly Public Relations. She holds a B.A. in Communications from Cal State Fullerton, sits on boards including Inland Action and the Inland Empire Economic Partnership, and received that group's 2024 President's Award and a 2019 "Woman of the Year" honor from her state representative, per the city's own biography.
