Elected citywide (at-large), unlike the four district council seats -- and unlike Moorpark's councilmembers, who serve 4-year terms, the Mayor serves a shorter 2-year term.

The incumbent Mayor, running for a second term. His filed ballot designation is "Mayor/Brewery Owner." Filed his candidacy July 14, 2026 and qualified July 24.
