Moorpark adopted district-based Council elections in 2019 (first used in the 2020 election) and redrew the district map in 2022; Districts 1 and 3 are up this cycle, while Districts 2 and 4 aren't up again until 2028. Incumbent Councilmember Renee Delgado faces a challenge from local business owner David Palos for Moorpark's District 1 council seat — the only contested race on this ballot.
