This person holds your district's seat on Glendora's 5-member City Council: city ordinances, the budget, and land-use decisions. A 4-year term, with no limit on how many terms a councilmember may serve.

Incumbent Michael Allawos, a former Glendora mayor completing his current council term, faces Teri Merrick, a more than 50-year Glendora resident, for the District 1 seat.

This person holds one of five district seats on Glendora's City Council: city ordinances, the budget, and land-use decisions. A 4-year term. He's the only candidate in this contest who has already held elected city office.

She's running on a six-point platform headlined by measured, "responsive, affordable development," protecting the foothills and trails, and "community-oriented policing and proactive local outreach." Her campaign site names no current occupation.

Strengths

A specific six-point platform — including foothill protection and road repairs — gives voters concrete standards to hold her to if elected.
