This person would hold one of two Dublin City Council seats up this cycle: city ordinances, the budget, and land use, under a council-manager government with an appointed City Manager, for a 4-year term. Dublin shifted from at-large to by-district Council elections starting with the November 2024 election (Districts 1 and 3 first); this is the first district-based election for this seat.

District 2 is an open seat with no incumbent running: four first-time candidates are competing -- Daniel Hor, Steve Lorey, Tejpreet Singh, and Richard Thornbury.
