A 4-year term, except this cycle's District 2 seat, a short 2-year term. Coalinga's Council selects a Mayor and a Mayor Pro Tem from among its own members after each election rather than voters choosing either office directly, and the city has no elected City Clerk or City Treasurer.

His own campaign site describes him as a "public servant, technology consultant" who was sworn onto the Council in December 2014 and ran Vosburg Technology Center LLC, an internet-and-computer-repair business, from 2008 to 2020 -- the only business the site names, and by its own account no longer operating, so this dataset could not confirm what current business his 2026 ballot designation refers to. His site says he is married to Claudia, principal of Coalinga-Huron's alternative-education high school, and they have three children. He states priorities of economic development and debt reduction, infrastructure modernization, rural broadband access, and government transparency. The California Republican Assembly's own 2026 endorsement list names him "Coalinga City Council, District 3 Incumbent."
