This person would hold one of five district seats on Clovis's City Council: city ordinances, the budget, and land use for this Fresno County city of about 120,000 residents. A 4-year term. This is Clovis's first-ever district election -- the city adopted five single-member districts in March 2025 after a demand letter alleging California Voting Rights Act violations, ending more than a century of at-large elections; Districts 1, 4, and 5 vote this cycle, Districts 2 and 3 follow in 2028. The Council selects a Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem from among its own members for two-year terms rather than voters choosing either office directly, and Clovis has no elected City Clerk or City Treasurer.

His own campaign site describes an approach of "teamwork, creativity and effective communication" to support the city's continued growth, and credits his wife, Joni, and family as supporters.
