Dr. Khaleah K. Bradshaw

Dr. Khaleah K. Bradshaw is the incumbent City Clerk, appointed by the City Council on December 13, 2021 and elected to the office in 2022, now seeking a second term unopposed. Raised in Compton, she moved to Carson at 21 and earned a bachelor's degree in English Literature and a master's degree in African American Literature and Black Political Thought from CSU Dominguez Hills, then a doctorate in Educational Leadership from CSU Long Beach in 2020. Before joining the City Clerk's office she spent over a decade at CSU Dominguez Hills, including as Admissions Supervisor and Director of Government and Community Relations.
