Unlike neighboring Martinez, where two similarly unopposed seats were cancelled and filled by direct council appointment, Brentwood's non-incumbent filing period simply reopened for five additional days (through Aug. 12, 2026) and drew three candidates in each district, so both races appear on the ballot as genuinely contested elections. Brentwood's Mayor (Susannah Meyer, term expires Nov. 2028) and Districts 1 and 3 (Faye Maloney, Jovita Mendoza; both term expire Nov. 2028) are not up this cycle, and Brentwood has no elected City Clerk or City Treasurer.
Stephanie Williams-Rogers
Her filed ballot designation is "Healthcare Professional." Williams-Rogers has served as President of the Brentwood Union School District's governing board, and spoke in that role at the district's April 2023 groundbreaking for its 13th school.
