Assemblymember Lori D Wilson took 65.3% of the June 2 vote; Jenny Leilani Callison, running with no party preference, took 23.6% and advances, while Rochelle Conner finished third with 11.1%. Wilson and Callison have met before — Wilson defeated her in the November 2022 general election for this seat.

The winner holds one of 80 Assembly seats for a two-year term, inside a 12-year lifetime cap on service in Sacramento. An Assemblymember authors bills, sits on the policy committees that decide which bills advance, and argues for the district's share of the annual state budget. Lori D Wilson

Democrat, the sitting Assemblymember for this district and mayor of Suisun City before her election. She is lead author of 34 bills in the 2025–2026 session, 7 of them signed into law. She has held the seat since a 2022 special election and won a full term later that year against the same opponent she faces now.

Jenny Leilani Callison

No party preference, an Army veteran who spent fourteen years as chief consultant to the Legislature's Military and Veterans Affairs Committee and holds a master's in public policy and administration from Sacramento State. Per the Daily Republic she is running on legislation to raise quality of life and reduce the cost of living. She has not held elected office.

Strengths

Fourteen years of committee staff work is direct knowledge of how a bill moves, and a no-party-preference candidacy is not bound to either caucus.

Trade-offs

She is running on roughly two-tenths of one percent of the money in this race, and she has no record in office to be judged on.
