Adelanto Mayor

This is their second try, after they challenged Reyes for the office in 2022. Beard has run for Adelanto office at least twice before without winning, in 2018 and 2022. This is their third attempt.

Gabriel Reyes

Gabriel Reyes is Adelanto's incumbent Mayor, with the ballot label "Mayor and Business Owner." Campaign filings show runs for Mayor in at least 2018, 2022, and now 2026. In December 2023 a gang related fight broke out at an Adelanto park. Reyes then asked the City Council for better park security. The City Manager promised an action plan.

Stevevonna Evans

Stevevonna Evans is a sitting at-large Adelanto Councilwoman. They were re-elected to their seat in November 2024 with 2,801 votes. That seat is not up again until 2028. Their ballot label here is "Councilwoman," and this is their second bid for Mayor.

Ronald Beard

Ronald Beard is running for Adelanto Mayor with the ballot label "Customer Service Representative." Victorville Daily Press headlines show two earlier runs for Adelanto office. Beard did not win in 2018 or 2022. A September 2018 headline said they sought proof of Adelanto's financial status. It also named payouts to residents. A September 2022 article named them among that year's mayoral and council candidates.
